Gary Balanoff is a romance novelist based in Oviedo, Florida, known for writing emotionally rich slow-burn romance stories that stay with readers long after the final page. His books explore opposites-attract love stories, emotional healing, and the journey of learning to trust again. A graduate of the University of Florida in Journalism and Communications, Gary began as a TV news reporter — remaining the youngest Florida Capitol Bureau Chief in history, covering the Ted Bundy murder trials, the first nine Space Shuttle launches, and the 1980 Democratic National Convention. He then spent 40 years in real estate, including 20 as founder and broker-owner of RE/MAX Select, which he built into one of the top 1% of offices in Greater Orlando.
