For forty-two years, Stephen Gosling worked in commercial construction, a career measured in foundations, load-bearing walls and deadlines that did not move. It taught him that anything worth standing must be built carefully, from the ground up.
All the while, a second calling was taking shape. For twenty-five years he has taught the Bible, leading classes where ordinary people bring honest questions to ancient texts.
In April 2016 he retired and went straight back to work, finishing To Seek and Save, the study of Luke he had begun a year earlier.
Stephen and his wife, Veronica, make their home in Texas. They have three children between them and attend Vista Ridge United Methodist Church.

The Feature
Daily Reflections · Revised Edition

Two thousand years ago, a church in a crowded port city argued about status, money, loyalty and love. The Apostle Paul answered them in letters so honest they still sting.
We Are All Corinthians invites the reader, or the pilgrim, to sit with those letters one passage at a time, opening a window onto God, onto the people of Corinth, and onto one's own heart.
Released in a revised edition in November 2023, it carries a quiet message: their struggles are our struggles, and the grace offered to them is offered to us.
