The coastal-thriller author moves to Blackwater Press in one of the year’s largest fiction agreements.

Marcus Feld, whose literary thrillers have quietly become fixtures of the bestseller list, has signed a three-book agreement with Blackwater Press — a deal his agent called "a long-term home, not a transaction."
The move follows the success of Salt and Ashes, now optioned for the screen.
"I spent fifteen years on the water before I wrote a word," Feld said. "I am in no hurry. Blackwater understands that."
The first of the three novels is expected in 2027.
